More details on Addison Rae's Addison
Addison Rae has finally released her highly anticipated debut solo album, titled Addison. The album features twelve tracks, including the five singles that preceded it: Diet Pepsi, Aquamarine, High Fashion, Headphones On, and Fame is a Gun. In an earlier interview with ELLE in April 2025, Rae describes Addison:
“It's a journey. The music is very introspective, kind of a look in the mirror at myself. I think it is a very optimistic approach to the hard times in life, hopefully very unexpected. The sound is very unique; the girls and I who worked on the music, Luka & ELVIRA, our goal was to challenge ourselves with sounds and also play with sounds that were very intuitive, and the lyrics really guided the production and it started a different way, and it kinda went somewhere else,” she told the magazine.
After the release of Addison, the album received positive reviews from music critics such as Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and The Independent, with all three giving it a solid four out of five-star rating. Clash scores the album 8 of 10.
