The Stellar Gospel Music Awards returned in 2025 for its 40th anniversary to recognize some of the biggest names in gospel music. The 2025 Stellar Gospel was taped live at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville on August 16, 2025.

The 2025 Stellar Gospel ceremony celebrated four decades of gospel excellence under the theme Our Music, Our Voice, Our Culture. The 2025 Stellar Gospel was hosted by the beloved brother-sister duo BeBe and CeCe Winans. The show featured tributes to gospel pioneers and spotlighted rising artists.

This year, the Stellar Gospel Music Awards' spotlight fell firmly on Pastor Mike Jr., who achieved a clean sweep. The Birmingham-born pastor and gospel star won all nine Stellar Gospel categories in which he was nominated. This achievement pushed his overall Stellar Gospel Music Awards tally to 28.

Notably, he secured Stellar Gospel Music Awards' Artist of the Year for the fourth time and surpassed past category leaders Kirk Franklin and Marvin Sapp, who had each won three times. His wins were spread across significant Stellar Gospel Music Awards honors like Song of the Year ("Amen"), Album of the Year (I Got Away EP), and Male Artist of the Year.

CeCe Winans picked up three Stellar Gospel Music awards, including Albertina Walker Female Artist of the Year and Praise and Worship Album of the Year. The Group Fire, Ricky Dillard, and Dorinda Clark-Cole each earned two victories at the 2025 Stellar Gospel. Rising talent ADIA took home 2025 Stellar Gospel's New Artist of the Year. A complete breakdown of all the winners and nominees from the 2025 Stellar Gospel Music Awards follows.
