Tenacious D, the comedy rock duo of Jack Black and Kyle Gass, is officially set to release the third and final chapter in their Complete Masterworks series.

The latest edition is titled The Complete Masterworks Vol. 3, and the collection will officially arrive on October 3, 2025, via MVD Entertainment Group on Blu-ray and DVD. It is going to be the band's first major collaborative project since a controversy in 2024 temporarily put their activities on hold.

The upcoming project features Tenacious D at London's O2 Arena during their 2023 Spicy Meatball Tour, along with a selection of extra content including music videos, their animated film Post Apocalypto, and a mini-poster. This edition follows the earlier Complete Masterworks releases in 2003 and 2008.

The group announced the third edition of their beloved Complete Masterworks series via an official Instagram post, which was captioned:

"Tenacious D Complete Masterworks 3 Pre-order Now!!! 🤯🎷🤠"

A significant part of Vol. 3 is the complete recording of the June 16, 2023, O2 Arena show. The performance features many of the duo's best-loved tracks. Songs from across their discography have also been featured in the setlist, including Tribute, The Metal, Kickapoo, Master Exploder, and Beelzeboss (The Final Showdown).

The group was formed in the mid-1990s. Jack Black and Kyle Gass gained significant attention with their 1997 HBO television series Tenacious D.
