My Chemical Romance has officially kicked off their 2025 "Long Live: The Black Parade" North American tour with a sold-out performance in Seattle.

The first show was held at T-Mobile Park on Friday, July 11. It was the beloved emo act's return to large-scale touring. Fans saw a full live performance of their iconic 2006 album The Black Parade.

The tour opener set the tone for My Chemical Romance's upcoming 11-date stadium run. The trek has been set to span coast-to-coast through the summer. Notably, all tour shows are sold out, and over 350,000 tickets have been sold.

My Chemical Romance was formed in 2001. The band consists of Gerard Way (vocals), Frank Iero (rhythm guitar), Mikey Way (bass), Ray Toro (lead guitar), and touring drummer Jarrod Alexander.

My Chemical Romance's 2004 album Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge introduced them to the mainstream. However, it was 2006's The Black Parade that arguably earned them significant love from fans. The record featured hits like "Welcome to the Black Parade," "Famous Last Words," and "Cancer." The beloved concept album told the story of a dying man — "The Patient" — and his journey into the afterlife.

Now, nearly two decades later, MCR is celebrating the beloved album.
