Star Bandz recently made her first appearance at Lollapalooza at just seventeen, making her one of the youngest performers to grace the stage on Friday. Born Star Ana Flowers, Star is an American rapper from Chicago.
Star began her Lollapalooza's perfromance with an unreleased song and then moved on to her popular hit song Bigger, Better, Badder. She concluded her show with the viral My Baby feat. Ddot. While talking to Block Club Chicago, Star Bandz revealed she was proud and excited to perform on the music festival’s stage.
“It feels really good. It feels like an accomplishment. I feel proud of myself … and I’m very grateful.”
Bands was born on March 31, 2008, in Sauk Village, Chicago, Illinois, U.S.
She began her music career in 2022 when she released her first song No Hook. Following the track’s release, Star released an EP titled Big Bandz in August. She released three more songs after that: Too Many Options, Not A Diss, and Bigger Better Badder in May, July, and December, respectively.
Over the course of her thriving career, Star Bandz has headlined The Luh Tyler: Mr Skii Tour with Luh Tyler in 2024 and The Worst Tour Ever with Veeze in 2025. She became a TikTok sensation after her song with Sugarhill Ddot went viral.

Lollapalooza 2025 began on Thursday, July 31, 2025, and will run through Sunday, August 3. The four-day event will be held under the iconic Chicago skyline at Grant Park. As the largest Chicago music festival, Lollapalooza will feature performances from over 170 artists.
Tyler, the Creator and Luke Combs headlined the Thursday event, Olivia Rodrigo and Korn headlined the Friday event, Rüfüs Du Sol and Twice headlined the Saturday event, and Sabrina Carpenter and A$AP Rocky will close the event on Sunday.
Other artists performing at the festival include Gracie Abrams, Dom Dolla, Cage The Elephant, Sierra Ferrell, Role Model, Mau P, Royel Otis, Barry Can't Swim, Magdalena Bay, Alex Warren, Bleachers, T-Pain, Doechii, and Finneas.
