Florence Pugh is a multitalented actress, and her appearance in YUNGBLUD’s music video is proof of that. Pugh, who recently starred in the blockbuster movie Thunderbolts*, popularly referred to as the New Avengers, is showing fans another side of her.

YUNGBLUD first teased Pugh’s appearance during a playback event for his new album, stating:

"We have got a massive f****** British actress in the video — it is going to be iconic. This song is called Zombie."

The British artist later shared a teaser of his upcoming music video, Zombie, on his socials, and fans were quick to spot the Dune actress. The unexpected appearance of the screen diva caused excitement among fans.

Florence Pugh, in YUNGBLUG’s teaser video, is shown wearing a white tee with her signature blonde bob as she gets visibly emotional. Zombie is one of the tracks in YUNGBLUD’s Idols album and the album is expected to drop on June 20, 2025.

The British artist on May 28, 2025, shared an image of a clapperboard on Instagram which had Pugh’s name on it with the caption:

"Friday [two eye emojis] @florencepugh.'

The celebrated actress commented on the post:

'I’m so proud of you and what we made. Well done, babe.'

Fans react to Florence Pugh starring in YUNGBLUD’s Zombie music video

@FilmUpdates shared the music video teaser featuring Florence Pugh, and an X user, @bolly_dude, described it as “wild and unexpected”:

“That’s a wild and unexpected combo. Can’t wait to see the vibe they bring together.”

Other Netizens expressed similar excitement:

“Oh no, I don’t think I’m mentally prepared for this,” @Red_Widow_13 stated.
“Playing the music video just for Florence,”@isaiahsofyne added.

In an interview with Rolling Stone published on May 29, 2025, YUNGBLUD praised Pugh for her individuality and uniqueness. He also admitted that he was “mind-blown” watching her work.
