Zach Bryan has collaborated with Gabriella Rose on a track titled Madeline that is both emotional and uplifting. Zach Bryan known for blending folk and outlaw country recruited talented Rose to sing over a stripped-down instrumental.

Madeline was initially expected to be a solo release and marks Zach Bryan’s first collaboration with Gabriella Rose. The solemn track also showcases the latter’s versatility as the singer has become associated with songs like DoubleWide and Necklace—fast paced songs with catchy lyrics.

In Madeline, the male protagonist can’t seem to get over a past romance with a girl named Madeline. The first verse encapsulates this:

"Well, oh, Madeline, how you been?/ I've been waiting 'round to die again/ Well, I saw all your friends and you weren't there/ And here's a picture of us holding up a pitcher of our favourite beer/ I'm tryna slow down this year, they can't hold it like we used to”

Gabriella Rose sings from Madeline’s perspective as she mirrors his loneliness:

“I ain't never felt this lonely as I do tonight in this nice hotel/ Twelve hundred miles from that sh*t motel you kissed me softly in/ Well, I heard you been on the road, West Coast, just song singing/ Are you coming home again? 'Cause I'd like to see you smile/ If you feel inclined, don't be dying on just anyone/ 'Cause I'm the only one that gets to call you home”

Rose expressed her gratitude for being picked to be featured in Madeline as she shared a link to the song on Instagram:

“So honoured to be part of this beautiful song with one of the most legendary and talented songwriters ever.”
