Donald Trump has taken another indirect jab at Jimmy Kimmel.

Charlie Kirk’s memorial service was held on September 21 at State Farm Stadium in Arizona. The event was also attended by Donald Trump, who remembered the Turning Point USA founder in his speech.

As he wrapped up his speech, Donald Trump also took a jab at Jimmy Kimmel after the recent suspension of the show.

"Over the last eleven days, we have heard stories of commentators, influencers, and others who greeted his assassination with sick approval, excuses, or even jubilation. You've heard that. So have I. Couldn't believe it."

He continued:

"You know the names. They're major losers, by the way. That will be proven out in a short period of time. Some of the very people who call you a hater for using the wrong pronoun were filled with glee at the killing of a father with two beautiful young children. And the same commentators who this week were screaming fascism over a cancelled late-night TV show where the anchor had no talent and no ratings."

While he didn’t mention Jimmy Kimmel by name, Trump’s remarks were seen as an indirect dig, as Kimmel’s show was cancelled just last week.

Donald Trump targets Jimmy Kimmel after a press question on free speech

Jimmy Kimmel's show 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' was cancelled on September 17 after he talked about Charlie Kirk's death on his broadcast. In a recent press, as reported by Fox News, Donald Trump was asked about free speech and if it's under attack in America.

In reply, Donald Trump said:

"Jimmy Kimmel was fired because he had bad ratings more than anything else and had said a horrible thing about a gentleman known as Charlie Kirk. And Jimmy Kimmel is not a talented person. He had really bad ratings, and they should have been fired long ago. So you can call it free speech or not; he was fired for lack of talent."

The suspension of Jimmy Kimmel Live! came as a shock to many, with several supporters backing Kimmel and hoping he would make a return. However, Kimmel has not publicly given any statement on the matter as of now.
