Cassie drops a bombshell statement during Diddy's trial; mentions Drake, D-Roc, and Suge Knight

The singer and dancer, Cassie Ventura, who is Diddy's ex-girlfriend and the key witness in Diddy's ongoing s*x trafficking trial, revealed the names of some of the high-profile celebrities during the trial.

During her trial on May 14, 2025, Cassie recalled an incident that took place in 2013, when Diddy had attacked her. In court, she said that the incident occurred when they were about to leave for Drake’s annual OVO Festival in Toronto, as per the New York Post.

Diddy was yelling at her for not packing and then attacked her. She reportedly said her two friends had tried to help, but she was still attacked by Diddy. She said that she had cut her eyebrows on the corner of her bed.

After Cassie recalled the incident of 2013 when Diddy had attacked her before going to Drake’s annual OVO Festival, she was shown a picture of her bruised eye and was asked in court about who took her to the doctor.

She replied, saying D-Roc was the one who took her to the hospital. D-Roc, also known as Damion "D-Roc" Butler, is a close friend of the rapper Christopher Wallace, also known as The Notorious B.I.G. and Biggie Smalls.

Cassie recalled another instance during her trail on Tuesday, May 13, where she said while she and Diddy were in a middle of a freak-off at Diddy's Los Angeles home, D-Roc had come in and said that Suge Knight, founder of the Death Row Records and a long term rival of Combs was at Mel’s Drive-in diner.

Cassie then said that Diddy had quickly packed at went there. Explaining what she did when she came to know of Diddy going there, she said:

I was crying. I was screaming, ‘Please don’t do anything stupid. I was just really nervous for them, what it meant, what they were going to do.''

She said that Diddy didn't listen to her, and later when he returned, he didn't tell Cassie about anything that happened, She said that it wasn't clear if Diddy and Suge met that time, as per The New York Post.

Throughout her trial, Cassie revealed all the details of the freak-offs she was forced to be a part of, along with the drugs they took. She also gave the court long, emotional, and detailed testimony of the physical, s*xual, and mental abuse she went through in her decade-long relationship with Diddy.

For the unversed, Diddy and Cassie were in an on-and-off relationship since 2007 before their split in 2018. In November 2023, she filed a lawsuit against Diddy, alleging r*pe, and s*xual assault. They had later settled the lawsuit.
