A new lawsuit has been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is undergoing a federal s*x trafficking trial. On May 14, 2025, a woman identified as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit in New York County Supreme Court, alleging that Diddy r*ped her in July 2001, according to a report in People magazine.

A report in TMZ stated that she met the rapper in May 2001 and went out with him several times. They allegedly spent some time together at his Manhattan recording studio, nightclubs and a restaurant.
In her complaint, the woman alleged that the incident took place at Diddy’s New York apartment when he “forcefully” led her into his bedroom. She alleged that he put his hand around her throat and said, "I'm going to suck the life out of you.”

According to the new lawsuit that has been filed against Diddy by a woman identified as Jane Doe, who alleged that he r*ped her in July 2001, he “forcefully” had s*xual intercourse with her in July 2001.
She lodged her complaint in the New York County Supreme Court on May 14, 2025, which also named Bad Boy Entertainment and other defendants, according to a report in People magazine.
Narrating her first encounter with Diddy, Jane Doe said that she met him in an elevator with her three friends in May 2001. She said that the rapper asked her for her contact number, and she met him the same day, along with her friends.

Their second encounter took place two days later. She said that Diddy attempted to kiss her that time, but she “physically moved” to avoid it. She said that he invited her again to his studio in July 2001.
She said that they went to a club, but due to a “sudden commotion” the bodyguards rushed them out. She added that when she and her friend decided to leave without warning, Combs allegedly berated her on the phone.
The two then met again "on or about July 31, 2001.” The woman and her friend were first called at his studio, after which they went to the Bowery Ballroom, where they were given drinks in a private area, which made them feel “weird.”
They were then driven to his apartment in New York, where he allegedly forced himself upon her. After putting his hand around her throat, he released it and held her arm down “while using his other hand to swiftly unbuckle his belt and pants.” He allegedly ignored her pleas and had s*x with her against her will.

She alleged that he tried to contact her even after two days, but she didn’t answer his calls. She was reportedly also invited to attend one of his white parties.
According to the complaint, the woman suffered physical abuse, emotional abuse, trauma, injury, and psychological damage because of Diddy's actions, reported TMZ. As per the reports, Diddy’s representatives have not yet commented on the lawsuit.
