Recently, during a Coldplay concert that took place on Wednesday, Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and the company's Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, who are not married to each other, were caught on the venue's kiss cam sharing an intimate moment.

On July 18, a new video of the two has been circulating on the internet. This video shows Andy and Kristin hugging, kissing, and singing to Coldplay's "Yellow" track, as reported by TMZ.

Their public display of affection suggests an affair, and the whole act of getting caught in the kiss cam at the concert became a topic of discussion and debates on the internet, and raised serious concerns about workplace ethics.

More about the new video of Andy and Kristin and the Coldplay concert

Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot of the tech company Astronomer were caught sharing an affectionate moment on the venue's kiss cam at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, on July 16, 2025. They appeared surprised and attempted to hide their faces when spotlighted on the Jumbotron.

Chris Martin then joked at that moment, suggesting that they were either shy or involved in an affair. The moment went viral on social media. They were called out, and their identities were revealed. This was followed by trolls, memes, and debates about the irony of the company's HR chief being involved in such a scandal.

Recently, another video circulated online. This video, shot from behind the seats, during the Coldplay concert, shows the two of them singing songs, embracing each other in hugs, and kissing.

The aftermath of these videos circulating online also included fake statements by Andy and the band. One such fake statement that is circulating online is a letter coming from Andy confirming the affair and expressing his disappointment. The letter reads that Andy is apologizing to his wife, children, and colleagues at the company.

It further states that what happened was a personal mistake that unfolded very publicly. In the fake statement circulating online, he also said went on to say how they deserved better from him, and claimed he was taking time to reflect and be accountable. It was later confirmed by Astronomer that the statement was not real.

Behind the now-viral video filmed at the Coldplay concert was Grace Springer, who filmed it. This is what he said to the US Sun about it:

''I had no idea who the couple was.... just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it. A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games … win stupid prizes.''

Astronomer placed both executives on leave and announced a formal investigation into the matter, as per The New York Post. The incident has raised questions about workplace relationships and the responsibilities of corporate leaders, especially those in higher positions overseeing company ethics and conduct.
