June 3, 2025, marked day 15 of Diddy's federal sex trafficking trial. The court heard testimonies from Eddy Garcia, a former security supervisor at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, as well as Derek Ferguson, the former Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Sean 'Diddy' Combs' media and entertainment company, Bad Boy Entertainment, as per NBC News.

During the testimony, Eddy explained to the court the lengths Combs went to obtain the video footage of him allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. On the other hand, Derek told the court all about the role he played in managing business with Combs, and also spoke about his observations on the alleged crimes against Diddy.

Key highlights of day 15 of Diddy's trial

Tuesday was day 15 of Combs trial, and this is the fourth week of the ongoing trial. Before the proceedings began, the court was disrupted by a woman heckler who suddenly called out Diddy's name and yelled cuss-laden statements like,

"These motherf***ers are laughing at you."

She was then promptly taken out of the court by law enforcement, as per the NZ Herald.

Eddy Garcia, who worked as the security supervisor at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, was called to the witness stand. He gave the court a detailed testimony of how Combs reached out to him to acquire a copy of the video footage, dated March 2016, in which he was allegedly seen assaulting Cassie.

He told the court that he was first contacted by Combs' chief of staff. He then testified that his supervisor, Bill Madrano, agreed to give the footage to Combs in exchange for $50,000, to which Combs agreed. He said that after the USB drive containing the footage was handed over, Combs made him sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), confirming that the USB, which he gave to him, contained the only copy of the video footage, as per The Sun.

Derek Ferguson, the CFO, also testified on Tuesday. He told the court that he worked for Combs for nearly two decades, and he would manage budgets, accounts, and occasionally handle Combs personal finances. When he was cross-examined, he told the court that he never witnessed Combs or his associates commit any violence, as per Fox News.

The jury was then shown the 2011 wire transfers, which were an amount of $20,000 transferred from Combs company to Cassie, and $20,000 transferred from Cassie's father to Diddy's company. The bank statements aligned with Cassie's mother, Regina Ventura's testimony, where she had said that Diddy demanded an amount of $20,000 when he found out about Cassie and rapper Kid Cudi's relationship.

Victim-2, under the pseudonym Jane, will be testifying in the court on Thursday. Diddy faces five criminal counts and has pleaded not guilty to all.
