Gayle King’s time at CBS could be taking a turn, with talk of big changes happening across the network. According to TMZ, King might have to leave CBS Mornings because of the new restructuring going on within the network. Sources of the outlet stated that a male correspondent was chosen but was replaced by a woman after appealing to Bari Weiss, the new editor-in-chief of CBS News.
Weiss took over as editor-in-chief of CBS News earlier this month, with the following responsibilities outlined for her according to the network:
"Weiss will shape editorial priorities, champion core values across platforms, and lead innovation in how the organization reports and delivers the news. Weiss will partner with CBS News President Tom Cibrowski, who reports to Paramount's Chair of TV Media, George Cheeks. CBS breaks the silence on Gayle King’s rumored exit
