Immediately after breaking the record, Kai announced it on his social media.

During his 2024 Mafiathon, his second of the broadcast, the young streamer set a record for 728,532 simultaneous Twitch subscribers. Since he set the record last year, no other streamer has come close to breaking it.
Now, amid the third and last Mafiathon broadcast, Kai Cenat surpassed his Twitch subscribers record on the 24th day. Mafiathon 3 began on Monday, September 1, 2025, and has drawn several high-profile guests, including Kim Kardashian, Offset, Tyla, Ice Spice, Swae Lee, Druski, Teyana Taylor, Victor Wembanyama, Tyrese Haliburton, Ed Sheeran, Benny Blanco, and Vitoria Justice.
