CEO of Astronomer Andy Byron has recently made headlines after his relationship with the company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, was unexpectedly revealed. During Coldplay’s concert at Gillette Stadium- a part of the band’s ongoing tour, the kiss cam captured the duo as they stood close to one another, with Byron having his arms wrapped around Cabot's waist.

The highlight of the video occurs when Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay, calls out the couple, stating:

“Oh, look at these two, either they're having an affair or they're very shy.”

This remark causes the crowd to burst into laughter, while Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot appear startled by the comment. They quickly leaned away from each other, as Kristin tried to cover her face.

The video of the two Astronomer executives has circulated widely online, causing speculation among netizens about a possible affair.

Andy became the CEO of Astronomer in July 2023, a company that is valued at $1.3 billion. According to the company’s official website, it is “the industry-leading data orchestration and observability platform powered by Apache Airflow®."

Also referred to as Astro, the company “accelerates building reliable data products that unlock insights, unleash AI value, and power data-driven applications.”

Prior to becoming the CEO of Astronomer, Andy Byron held senior positions at companies such as Lacework, Fuze, BladeLogic, BMC Software, VeriCenter, and Cybereason, where he served as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). According to reports, Andy oversaw the company’s global sales and channel team from 2017 to 2019.

While describing Astronomer earlier this year, Byron called it “the largest open-source project today in the world.” He added that the company offers services such as delivering data efficiently and cost-effectively to various AI workloads and applications for over a thousand customers worldwide.

Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron and they live together in New York. Megan is an educator at Bancroft School and also holds the position of Associate Director of Lower School & The Hope Graham Program Admission. It is reported that the couple share two children together.

Before the viral video, the couple lived a private life with little to no information about their private lives on social media. Following Byron’s moment at Coldplay’s concert, Megan has found herself in the spotlight, receiving numerous messages on her Facebook account.
