Sports commentator and TV host Joy Taylor, who worked for Fox Sports 1 (FS1), was recently dropped by the channel when the network canceled her show Speak, along with other shows, including Breakfast Ball and The Facility, according to Blavity.

Taylor had joined FOX Sports in 2016, and her contract was ending in summer 2025, which Fox opted not to renew. The three shows were cancelled due to low viewership. She was also sidelined earlier in 2025 amid a workplace misconduct lawsuit filed by former Fox hairstylist Noushin Faraji.

As of 2025, she remains single and hasn’t publicly confirmed any relationship. However, she was previously married to Richard Giannotti.

More about Joy Taylor's personal life

Joy Taylor's career at Fox Sports came to an end after nearly a decade. Citing lower viewership for her shows and being named in a legal controversy, likely impacted Fox’s decision on her role and contract.

Taylor was named in a se*ual battery lawsuit that former Fox Sports hairstylist, Noushin Faraji, had filed. In the lawsuit, Joy is accused of dismissing Faraji’s claim. She had claimed that then-Fox Sports programming executive Charlie Dixon had groped her during a party in 2017. The lawsuit further accuses Joy of mocking Faraji’s accent and her PTSD-induced humming, as per reports by The Daily Beast.

Taylor, however, denied all the claims. A spokeswoman told The Athletic in February this year that:

''The claims set forth against Ms. Taylor are devoid of merit and appear to have been strategically framed to create unwarranted publicity rather than to seek legitimate redress.''

In The Breakfast Club podcast, Taylor expressed her views on the lawsuit. She said:

''I’ve never felt compelled to litigate that. Genuinely. I have felt a lot of different emotions. I think it’s a grief process when anything like that happens. I’ll say, I’ve been through a lot of traumatic things in my life. A lot. And I think any time you go through a trauma or a grieving period of something, you can’t decide who you are when it’s happening. And that’s been the biggest thing for me.''

She continued:

''And I’m trying to be patient with myself in that way, because it’s a lot to adjust to,” she said. “It’s a new reality. And I’m trying to choose myself and be gentle with myself in that sense.''

In a recent BIG YIKES podcast with Brittany Brave, Taylor spoke a bit about her relationship speculations. She said:

''If you think I’m single, I’m single. If you don’t think I’m single, I’m not. But you’re never going to know.''

Taylor was previously married to the former professional baseball player Richard Giannotti in 2016 and then called it quits in 2017. She was then engaged to the former NBA player and coach Earl Watson in September 2018, but the engagement ended in 2019.
