On October 15, Kim Kardashian uploaded an Instagram post featuring three images made with the help of AI. The caption of the post read:

"This AI trend might be my fave."

The first image showed Kim hugging her younger self, while the second image showed her teenage self with her daughter, North. However, it was the third image that drew the most attention in the comments, showing Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian, at her graduation.

Kim Kardashian lost her father, Robert, in 2003 to esophageal cancer. He was 59 years old. Robert Kardashian was an attorney and cofounder of the Radio & Records Newspaper.

Kim Kardashian graduated from her law program in May 2025. She celebrated the milestone with her family and friends. The AI image of Robert at her graduation was loved by her fans, as it showed him in a moment he couldn’t be there for in real life.

Two years back, in 2023, Kim Kardashian honored her father’s birthday with an Instagram post. Remembering her father, Kim wrote that it’s been twenty years since she last celebrated his birthday and reflected on how lucky she was to have 22 years with him. Expressing her emotions, she added:

"I can close my eyes and hear your voice and remember the funniest little things about you that make me so happy. I’ll never ever let that go. I just really miss you and kinda need you right now. Please come to me in a dream soon."
