“Jack done got jacked”: Lil Baby shows off Jack Doherty’s $200k chain in latest Instagram story after snatching it at the club

YouTuber Jack Doherty and the rapper Lil Baby are making rounds on social media after their recent interaction. On Wednesday, June 11, 2025, Lil Baby snatched Jack's $200,000 diamond chain at a nightclub and walked away with it, the clip of which has gone viral on the internet.

Following this, Lil Baby uploaded an Instagram story in which he showed the diamond chain that he snatched from Jack, and the story also has Jack in it. He captioned the story:

''Jack done got jacked.''

The whole drama, right from snatching the chain to getting away with it to the Instagram story, has left the internet divided, while some are taking it as a publicity stunt, others think it's a harmless prank.

Recently, the Yes Indeed singer, Lil Baby, posted an Instagram story in which he is showing off the diamond chain of Jack Doherty. It all started when Lil Baby snatched Jack's glimmering diamond chain at the club. The video going viral on X shows Lil Baby taking the chain and Doherty saying:

“Bro, I need my chain, bro!”

The clip shows Lil Baby in his car and Doherty repeatedly asking him to return his chain. Jack then says that it's on the camera, meaning that the snatching of the chain and going away with it is recorded. This clip-on X (formerly Twitter) gained over 700,000 views.

Jack and the stealing of his diamond chains is not a new thing for his fans and followers. In April, Jack had lost two diamond chains worth $300k to robbers outside the Cheesecake Factory on N Beverly Drive and Brighton Way. He had posted a video on his X handle explaining to his audience how the robbery had happened.

Later, Jack purchased eight luxury watches and posted the picture on his Instagram account. A few days later, after the robbery incident, Lil Baby offered to buy Jack a chain. The recent clips of Lil Baby snatching Jack's chain hint at a joke to grab the spotlight and make both personalities trending again.

Doherty is well known for his prank videos, stunts, and challenges, so this recent act between him and Lil Baby is also perceived to be some sort of staged prank. Netizens are also making theories that Lil Baby was trying to roast Jack, given the public setting and the mocking tone Lil Baby used. Theories also say that it could be a power mover or just a playful diss meant to embarrass Jack.
