According to TMZ’s Thursday, October 16, 2025, publication, the KISS member's situation happened after he suffered from a serious fall in his studio some weeks ago. Inside sources told the news outlet that Ace Frehley had been on life support for a while before his passing.

On September 26, 2025, a statement was shared on Ace Frehley’s official Instagram account announcing that the singer was in the hospital due to a ‘minor’ fall in his studio. According to the statement, the fall wasn't serious, and the singer was fine. However, the doctor advised him to suspend traveling for a while.
“Dear Rock Soldiers, Ace had a minor fall in his studio, resulting in a trip to the hospital. He is fine, but against his wishes, his doctor insists that he refrain from travel at this time.”
The statement added that Ace would be canceling his performance at the Antelope Valley, which was supposed to be held on September 26, due to the accident.
“As a result, he is forced to cancel his performance at the Antelope Valley Fair in Lancaster, California, on Friday, September 26th.”
They asked his fans to anticipate the singer’s next performances and next album.
