Kanye West's ex-assistant, Lauren Pisciotta, is currently hiding from the rapper after she filed a lawsuit alleging that her former boss sexually assaulted her. She worked for Ye from 2021 till she was dismissed in 2022. The reason why Pisciotta is hiding is that she has been targeted for swatting time and again. She believed that Kanye is behind the attacks and revealed that ever since she filed the charges. The attacks have happened more than once.
According to Arick Fudali, Pisciotta's lawyer, he said that his client is afraid and has removed herself from social media and is:
"just sort of sitting around and hiding - letting this lawsuit play out."
He added:
"She is suffering and has been suffering since she began working for Mr West. It's really sad – she's gone through a lot."
Lauren Pisciotti filed the first lawsuit against West in June 2024 and alleged that she was sexually harassed and stalked. Later on, in 2025, she updated her lawsuit and accused her former boss of sex trafficking, assault, and rape.
The case will be brought to court in August 2025.
What did Lauren Pisciotta's updated lawsuit contain?
On July 10, 2025, Lauren Pisciotta amended the lawsuit that she filed a year ago. She added that she has been:
"bombarded with unwanted, harassing, and alarming," visits from the police.
She also revealed that one time she was raided at her own property by armed officers from the Palm Beach Sheriff's office, after a report that she killed her own mother, which was not true.
Additionally, she claimed that she was getting multiple phone calls from people who were warning her not to go through with the lawsuit against Kanye. They believed that she would not win the case.
She also added that her former employer often:
"exposed his employees to extreme displays of racism and antisemitism on a daily basis."
The lawsuit also said:
"Ye constantly used derogatory, antisemitic slurs, and interrogated employees he suspected were Jewish. On multiple occasions, Ye demanded that his assistants and other employees draw swastikas in the workplace."
How did Kanye West respond to the lawsuit filed by Lauren Pisciotta against him?
Kanye West took to social media to address the lawsuit that was filed by his former assistant against him. He wrote:
"WHY DID I NEVER F*** LAUREN PISCIOTTA SHE SMELLED FUNNY AND HALF OF THE NBA CAN ATTEST TO THAT."
In another post, he said:
"REAL RAPE IS DIFFERENT THAN SOME ATTRACTIVE INCOMPETENT B#### WEARING TIGHT ASS PANTS TO WORK. AND KEEPING RECEIPTS TO EXTORT THEIR BOSS SOMEDAY."
As for Ye's legal team, they have issued a statement claiming that the allegations against the rapper are false and called them "tall tales." In their exact words:
"Lauren Pisciotta's amended complaint is the fourth version she has advanced. Each new revision contradicts the others. We stand ready to annihilate Ms Pisciotta's tall tales before a jury − an exoneration so inevitable that even she, lost in her fog of fantasy, must surely see it coming."
Lauren Pisciotta's legal battle has escalated significantly, with her feeling the need to hide from all the swatting attacks she believed were orchestrated by Kanye. The case is set to be heard in court in August 2025, and the outcome may have lasting implications for both parties.
