Doja Cat, Sabrina Carpenter, Ciara, and seven celebrities who slayed VMAs 2025
1) Doja Cat

Doja Cat commanded attention when she arrived at the event wearing a Balmain mini dress in soft pastel colors of blue and yellow. The dress featured long sleeves, a low plunging V-neckline, and trimmings around the border. The “Woman” hitmaker paired the outfit with tall chunky platform heels and carried a $5995 Judith Leiber Couture clutch shaped like a lipstick.
2) Sabrina Carpenter

Sabrina Carpenter is one more celebrity who always delivers on the red carpet. The “Man Child” crooner wore a custom-fitted Valentino red dress. This time, the singer opted for a dress with a longer length as opposed to her usual short dresses. The sheer fabric highlighted the intricate floral patterns that decorated the entire dress. Sabrina elevated the look with a fluffy boa draped around her arms.

3) Ciara

Ciara attended the 2015 VMAs wearing a vibrant red Schiaparelli dress. Known for its avant-garde designs, Schiaparelli didn't disappoint when it came to delivering. The dress featured a high funnel-like collar, asymmetrical cut, and a cocoon-shaped silhouette. Ciara rocked the dress with a pair of transparent open-toe heels.
4) Tate McRae

Tate McRae certainly turned heads with her sensual yet bold outfit for the 2025 VMAs. The 22-year-old wore a custom Ludovic de Saint Sernin white dress featuring a daring cutout on the waist. The dress came with a ruched bodice and was a hundred percent see-through. The singer paired the dress with white open-toe heels.
5) Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson made a comeback to the VMAs after her last appearance nineteen years ago. The “I Wanna Love You Forever” singer wore a see-through black dress featuring multiple layers of dark sheer fabrics twisted and draped over her body, creating a mummy effect. The design of the dress exposed a hint of skin at intervals, especially when she moved.
6) Ice Spice

Ice Spice’s outfit stood out for being unique and different. The singer brought a striking contrast to the event. Her dress featured a strapless corset-style bodice with visible boning and ribbed pattern. The skirt of the outfit was made from several patches of materials with a long length that flowed to the ground.
7) Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande’s outfit to this year’s VMAs was one of the most talked-about. The “We Can't Be Friends” star attended the event wearing a strapless Fendi dress featuring polka dots and a structured voluminous peplum. The dress also came with a heart-shaped neckline.
VMAs 2025 proved once again that the red carpet is just as much about fashion as it is about music. From daring silhouettes to timeless elegance, each star brought their own flair and personality to the night. Whether it was Doja Cat’s playful pastels, Sabrina Carpenter’s dramatic Valentino, or Ariana Grande’s vintage-inspired Fendi, the event was a dazzling showcase of creativity and self-expression. One thing is certain: this year’s VMAs will be remembered not only for its musical highlights but also for the unforgettable fashion moments that defined the night.
