Coldplay’s Chris Martin shared his response after Andy Byron, CEO of Astronomer, and a woman were spotted on the kiss cam camera during the band’s concert in Boston on July 16.

This fun-filled segment did not turn out well for Andy Byron, who was seen embracing a woman during the concert. However, when they were shown on the screen, they immediately covered their faces and turned away from the camera. When Byron and Cabot turned away from the camera, Chris Martin reacted:

“Look at these two. Either they are having an affair or just very shy.”

When the camera showed another couple, Martin asked:

“Okay, now listen. Are you two a couple? Are you two a legitimate couple? Do you understand English?”

Reports allege that Byron was seen with the company’s HR person, Kristin Cabot. The two are reportedly married to different spouses.

Whether Andy Byron and Kritin Cabot were having an affair is unknown at the time of writing, as there are no official updates regarding the same. Much of what is being said is based on mere speculation.

A kiss cam segment is when a camera at a concert or sporting match shows two people who may or might not be a couple. After their faces are shown on the big camera, they are required to kiss each other, although not mandatorily.

What did a former employee at Andy Byron’s company say following the Coldplay concert incident?

According to an exclusive report by The New York Post from July 17, following the kiss cam incident at Chris Martin’s Coldplay concert, a former employee at Astronomer has spoken up about the issue. A source told the media outlet:

“The text groups and chains of former employees are like…everybody’s laughing their *ss off and enjoying the hell out of what happened and him getting exposed.”

On July 18, FOX 5 WASHINGTON DC mentioned that Andy Byron’s wife reportedly shut down her Instagram and Facebook pages after receiving various comments and reactions about the incident.

However, a person, who is the CEO’s namesake, has responded to the comments as social media users mistook him for the one who attended the concert. According to the LinkedIn profile of the person, he is a graphic designer. His bio on the platform now reads:

“NOT THE GUY FROM THE COLDPLAY GIG!”

He shared a post, clarifying that it wasn’t him, as he wrote:

“No, this isn't me. I wouldn't be caught dead at a Coldplay concert. I'm the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them. If you want to make video content that goes viral for the right reasons, let's connect.”
