Apple iPhone 17 gets mixed reactions from internet users
Many users criticized the similar appearance of the new iPhone to its predecessors. A user said that it is the same phone with a different name.
"Same phone, different name. Nothing new here."
Another user sounded frustrated with the new release and advised that the company should release newer models after two to three years and not every year with "minimal updates."
"Same old cr*p, idk why apple wont just release new iPhones every 2-3 years instead of releasing new ones every with minimal updates."
Another netizen sarcastically cheered for the new model while pointing out its similarity to previous models.
"Yaaaaay, time for me to buy the iphone 17 that looks like the 16 but not different from the 15 and the other ones before that."
However, some on the internet expressed their excitement for the newly released model.
"Apple just unveiled the iPhone 17 — thinner, faster, and smarter than ever. The future of iPhone is here."
This time the company has included the 120Hz refresh rate in its non-Pro model. A user rejoiced over the upgrade.
"Finally 120Hz displays."
Commenting on the list of features, a user commended the upgrades.
"Looks like a lot of improvements."
