Gigi Hadid, who has been in a relationship with Bradley Cooper since 2023, has allegedly given up alcohol to support the Silver Linings Playbook actor. According to reports, an insider close to the couple said in a statement to Radar Online that Gigi Hadid allegedly decided to give up alcohol solely to support Bradley Cooper, who has been sober since 2004.

According to Variety, Bradley Cooper has, in fact, been quite open about his past struggles with alcohol. He had previously spoken about how his addiction struggles had influenced him in portraying the character of Jackson Maine in the 2018 Oscar-nominated film, A Star is Born. He said:

"I got sober at 29 years old, and I’ve been sober for 19 years. I’ve been very lucky. It made it easier to be able to really enter in there. And thank goodness I was at a place in my life where I was at ease with all of that, so I could really let myself go.”

According to the New York Post, Gigi Hadid turned heads just last month, in October, while she walked the runway at the 2025 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, an event also attended by her sister Bella Hadid.

Gigi Hadid was first linked to actor Bradley Cooper in October 2023, two years after her split from Zayn Malik, whom she had been dating since 2015. According to People Magazine, the former couple welcomed their daughter Khai Hadid Malik in September 2020, and have been co-parenting her following their split.

Bradley Cooper, on the other hand, was previously in a relationship with actress Irina Shayk from 2015. They later welcomed their first and only child, Lea de Seine, in 2017, but later went their separate ways the same year. According to People Magazine, Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper were first spotted out together at a popular Italian restaurant in New York, after which they reportedly left the establishment together. At that time, neither of the parties confirmed their then-rumored relationship. In fact, throughout October, the rumored couple was spotted out together several times by the paparazzi.

In December, a source close to the couple told People Magazine that Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper were in fact "getting more and more serious." They said:

"They were quietly dating for much longer before it went public and were very hush-hush, trying to see if things would work between them. They had several months together privately and things have been going really well."

According to Harper's Bazaar, in January 2024, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, along his mother, Gloria, were seen attending dinner at Giorgio Baldi, a well-known Italian spot in Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Later, on January 25, the couple was spotted sharing an intimate moment while vacationing in the UK. A month later, while out in New York, Bradley Cooper was seen wearing clothes from Guest in Residence, the luxury knitwear brand founded by Gigi Hadid.

Throughout the next few months, the couple were spotted out together on various occasions, one of them being with their close friends Tan France and Antoni Porowski. According to People Magazine, earlier this year, in April, Gigi Hadid made a rare comment in an interview with Vogue Magazine about her relationship with the Oscar-nominated actor, saying:

"Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more, and that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life. I respect him so much as a creative, and I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief."

In May of this year, the couple made their relationship Instagram-official by posting a picture kissing during Hadid's 30th birthday celebration, attended by their closest friends.

According to Page Six, a source close to the couple reportedly confirmed in a statement to the outlet that they were looking forward to marriage, adding that Bradley Cooper was looking to "pop the question in the next couple of months."
