Aubrey O’Day has confirmed that she will not testify in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ sex trafficking trial. Netizens online guessed that she might be involved after she posted from New York, but she has now made it clear that she isn’t going to take the stand.

Aubrey spoke about it on a podcast. She was contacted by Homeland Security, but she isn’t part of the trial.

Diddy is currently facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and racketeering. His case is one of the most talked about in recent times. His former partner, Cassie Ventura, has already testified and shared very emotional and upsetting details about her time with him. Allegedly, Diddy has denied all the claims.

Aubrey O’Day clears up rumors

In a new podcast episode, Aubrey O’Day said she isn’t testifying. She said,

“No, I’m not here to testify for the Diddy trial, that I know of. I posted on my Instagram that I was here in New York and enjoying myself because I wanted to make it clear to everyone that I am not here testifying.”

She explained that she posted a video from New York just to ask her followers for food and travel suggestions, not because she was there for court. People started guessing she was part of the trial after she posted a scale emoji, which some thought was a clue. But she said it was just a random post and had nothing to do with the court.

She mentioned that she spoke to Homeland Security and had a "meeting" with them, but she repeated that she would not testify. Aubrey also said she had been offered her music publishing rights back, which she believes was Diddy’s way of trying to silence her.

Aubrey O’Day's thoughts on Cassie’s testimony

Aubrey O’Day also reacted to Cassie Ventura's testimony. Cassie has shared painful stories about being forced into upsetting situations during her relationship with Diddy. Aubrey said Cassie’s words “feel very honest… very open, vulnerable, horrific.” She said she was proud of how far Cassie has come.

“Sometimes I hear her discuss things that she did then and how now she would never, she understands it differently, and that makes me feel like so happy for her that she’s come, you know, because I don’t know her as a mom, so like to understand that she made that evolution and went to the other side of viewing all of it made me feel like really proud of her. It’s horrific that she had to go through go through so much.”

She also talked about the alleged text messages shown during the trial. In one, Cassie said she wanted to bring something up with Diddy, and he replied by saying she was “so predictable.” Aubrey said that people who manipulate others use this kind of language. Aubrey O’Day explained how this kind of control works. She said people start doubting themselves and trying harder to prove they are not the problem.

“It doesn’t even have to be sexual. It could be anything they want you to do. It’s like almost training a child… ‘You are so predictable, like you just like the rest of them.’ And then you get that feeling as a woman to be like, no, wait, I’m not, I promise you… Then talk yourself back into an idea.”

She also talked about a message where Diddy told Cassie he was about to be arrested. According to her, that wasn’t true. It was just said to make Cassie feel bad and come back.

“It's about control, coercion, and grooming.”
