CBS host Bari Weiss has been in Megyn Kelly's crosshairs since she praised Ben Shapiro's AmFest speech. For the unaware, on December 18, Shapiro criticized podcaster Candace Owens for dragging TPUSA and Erika Kirk into Charlie Kirk's assassination. He said that people should condemn her publicly and called those "cowards" who refrain from doing so.

Ben Shapiro also took a dig at Megyn Kelly for not speaking out against Owens' theories. Bari Weiss shared Shapiro's speech on her X account and commented that "only cowards tolerate conspiracy theorists." Kelly reacted to this post and wrote:

"Only cowards take to the national stage or X to attack their “friends” without so much as a phone call to discuss it. And also didn’t tag me bc she is afraid."

On December 22, while commenting on an X post about Weiss, Megyn Kelly wrote that she knew nothing about television. Political consultant Frank Luntz reacted to Kelly's post and brought up her old post in which she commended Bari Weiss.

In her October 6 tweet, Megyn Kelly congratulated Weiss for becoming editor-in-chief of CBS News. Kelly wrote that Weiss "deserves every bit of this success," and she was thrilled to "see her rewarded for all of her hard work."

The media personality responded to Luntz's post and commented:

"I was reliably informed this week that it is cowardly not to call out your friends with the unvarnished truth about their defects. So my days of being a polite friend (to her) are over. And there’s more truth coming."

Megyn Kelly aimed at Bari Weiss on the AmFest stage

During her December 19 appearance at TPUSA's annual conference, Megyn Kelly blasted Ben Shapiro. Later in the Q&A session, Jack Posobiec pointed out that it seemed like Shapiro's call was co-signed by Bari Weiss and asked Kelly if she had to say something on that.

"So, it's a similar situation with Bari. None of this is about them calling me out for anything I've said or haven't said, or it's certainly not about Erika Kirk, as Ben tried to make it sound last night. It's about Israel. Those two are very pro- ardent Israel activists, which is fine, but they don't get to dictate how the rest of us feel about Israel or what we do with respect to our friends and our friends' opinions on Israel," Kelly responded.

The former Fox News host remarked that Weiss wanted to present herself as Erika Kirk's protector. She further claimed that TPUSA's CEO barely knows Bari Weiss. Megyn Kelly also pointed out that Weiss had never been to any TPUSA event. She went on to accuse the CBS editor-in-chief of never standing by Charlie Kirk.
