Political commentator Matt Walsh lashed out at political leaders ahead of the House Vote on the release of Epstein files on Tuesday. The conservative media personality shared a post on his X account, demanding the full release of documents.

"I think they should release all the Epstein documents and I’ve said that from day one," Walsh posted.

Further in his post, Matt Walsh added that many "clamoring" for the release of Epstein documents now are doing it now for "political gain." Walsh criticized leaders from both parties for overlooking the issue for years.

"It’s also true that most (not all) of the people in DC clamoring for the Epstein files are doing it solely for political gain and they didn’t give the slightest shit about Epstein or the files until 10 seconds ago. It’s also true that the Trump Administration has fumbled this issue badly. One of the worst fumbles we’ve ever seen," Walsh added.

He continued,

"It’s also true that not one Democrat in the country actually cares about Epstein, which is why precisely none of them called for the release back when they could have done it themselves easily...So the whole thing is a mess and there’s almost no one to root for here, except the truth."

In his previous posts, Matt Walsh advocated the release of all documents related to Jeffrey Epstein. In some of his tweets, he questioned President Trump, calling the files a "hoax."

Survivors press the House to support the release of Epstein files at press conference

Earlier on Tuesday, Epstein survivors held a press conference on Capitol Hill and urged the lawmakers to vote for the release of Epstein files. Several survivors were joined by Representative Ro Khanna and Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Khanna invited Haley Robson, a survivor whom he credited with uniting other survivors, to share her thoughts ahead of voting.

She showed a photo of herself from her teenage years and said:

"I want everybody to take a look. I know everybody sees us today as grown adults, but we are fighting for the children that were abandoned and left behind in the reckoning. This is who you're fighting for. This is who Congress is fighting for. This is who the House of Representatives are fighting for. and hopefully the Senate will fight for us too."

She further urged to put "political agendas and party affiliations" aside. Later, several other survivors echoed similar thoughts and pressed the House to vote for the release of Epstein's files.

Earlier on Sunday, Epstein survivors released a video with World Without Exploitation. In this public service announcement, they appealed to the citizens to petition their member of Congress to vote "YES" on the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
