Pamela Anderson is rewriting the Hollywood beauty script, trading red-carpet glam for fresh-faced confidence and sparking a movement in the process.
Speaking to People at the Sonsie pop-up in New York City on Oct. 24, the actress, now proudly makeup-free, says embracing her natural look has given her a new kind of power.
"So much more freeing and so much more confidence. It's a choice."

Pamela Anderson co-owns the skin care brand Sonsie with her son Dylan Jagger Lee, which fosters mindful beauty. Since announcing her role in the aesthetic label in early 2024, her philosophy about her appearance has changed.
Recalling, the Naked Gun star switched to a makeup-free look sometime in 2023. However, it didn't come as easily as it looks.
"You do have to work on it. It's a practice to be confident going out of the house with or without makeup."

When asked what advice she would give her younger self, Pamela Anderson said she wasn't sure if she could provide any, despite being one of today's advocates of the makeup-free lifestyle. She explained:
"That's the thing. You look back in hindsight, after having some life experience, you can look back and see yourself. But I mean, I don't know if I'd give her any advice. You have to discover for yourself, and I would've had to discover for myself."
The Last Showgirl actress continued:
"If someone told me to do something when I was younger, I wouldn't have done it. So you just have to kind of find your own inspirations and own reasons."
Pamela Anderson on her definition of mindful beauty: "It's like therapy"
During an intimate Q&A segment with Dylan, Pamela Anderson was asked to describe what mindful beauty is to her, given that this perspective is the crux of their skincare brand.
"Authenticity. Mindful beauty means you think about the impact you have when you use a product or buy a product. There's just some products that are more sustainable than others and you have to kind of be mindful about that."
She went on:
"It's more than a skincare brand to us. For me it's like therapy really, just peeling it back and being comfortable. It's a practice because, I don't wear a lot of makeup lately... I wear zero makeup. It's been an interesting journey so far, it's only been a year."

Meanwhile, in August, Pamela Anderson starred in the action-comedy film The Naked Gun, alongside veteran actor Liam Neeson. At the time, an insider confirmed that the two celebrities were in a relationship.
The rumored couple neither confirmed nor denied it, while speculations that their romance was a publicity stunt. However, another source spoke to People and said:
"Everything between them has been genuine. Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt. They have a great time. Neither of them needs the publicity."
