"Streamers got odds now??" - Internet reacts to IShowSpeed having an 80% chance of winning Streamer of the Year according to Polymarket

On December 4, the X account @FearedBuck shared a post showing the analysis by Polymarket, which predicted that streamer IShowSpeed has an 80% chance of bagging the Streamer of the Year Award. As the Polymarket statistics show, Kai Cenat has a 20% chance of winning, while JasonTheWeen has a 4.4% chance. However, PlaqueBoyMax has a less than 1% chance of winning the award.

Social media users reacted to the news, and one X user commented:

IShowSpeed talks about the beginnings, streaming in Turkey, and a scary moment in Malaysia

In December 2024, IShowSpeed sat down with Jon Youshaei for an interview. As the conversation began, Jon asked the streamer how he felt about his achievements. Speed said it was an inexplicable feeling that came to a point that it almost became “motivational” for him. Speaking about his streaming journey, Speed said:

“When I first start on my stream, I only had like one viewer two viewers and that kept me going week two I started averaging four viewers week three I started averaging seventeen viewers so then around 2023 that's when I really started travelling.”

He mentioned:

“I started to like go places like Turkey and all my fans like I have a lot of fans in the European countries you know, and for me to really reach out to them and feel connected to them, I did streams there and that led to where I'm at right now 2024 I'm traveling a whole world of streaming.”

IShowSpeed discussed his trip to Indonesia and stated that the people there supported him more than he had ever seen in any other country. He also described a scary moment in Malaysia, where he got stuck inside a restaurant because huge crowds outside made it unsafe for him to leave.
