Streamer Emiru, whose real name is Emily Beth Schunk, was reportedly assaulted during a TwitchCon event in San Diego. She was hosting a meet-and-greet session when a person came up to her and grabbed her without consent.

Meanwhile, as seen in a video posted on X by the account @Awk20000, another streamer, Cinna, who was supposed to host a similar session, said:

“So, I had to cancel my meet and greet because of the stuff but I can’t cancel my meet and greet and not cancel her show because of the fact that the reason I can’t cancel my meet and greet is I don’t want to be in a same place for two hours. Because of people being weird and then I am under contract with them so I can’t cancel one and not cancel the other.”

Emiru shared her opinion, stating:

“I kept my meet and greet cause I wanted to keep my show. Surely, it will be fine.”

Emiru had previously discussed having a bodyguard who handled a situation at TwitchCon. During a stream with the FaZe Clan member Jason "Jasontheween," she said there was a guy who followed her around at the event, and her security guard asked him to stop doing that, but he didn’t. Emily said:

"So, he grabbed the guy but he didn’t like hurt him. He was just holding the guy until like the Con security came and then for some reason they are like, ‘Yeah, because your security guard touched him, he’s like perma-banned from the venue forever'."

Emiru reiterated that her security guard did not hit the guy. He only held him till the police came. She said he was her favorite security guard, but he can’t be with her at TwitchCon anymore.

Emiru on donating her costumes and naming rabbits

Besides being a streamer, Emily is also well-known as a cosplayer. In 2023, she livestreamed a day in her life. After showing her viewers the new phone she got, she also talked about and revealed that her cosplaying costumes were packed in trash bags. She was planning to donate old clothes as well as the costumes.

In the video, she said:

“I also want to show you guys, you see all these trash bags? It's missing two but these are all of my costumes that I bagged up to donate so this massive pile of trash bags is actually just my old clothes so it's a lot.”

She went on to say:

“I said on stream but I'm getting rid of 171 costumes so it's a lot.”

In the video, Emiru also shared random things about her life. She said that she usually names her rabbits based on other animals or food. Further, admitting that she once raised a rabbit named Chicken for her friend Rose, who now has it.

Moreover, she added that she has been contemplating naming her new puppy Bunny, but wasn't sure at the time. Other names she talked about include Rat and Mimi.
