Kya Renee, aka CookinWitKya (often misspelled as ‘CookingwithKya’), got emotional during a recent livestream.

The famous TikToker and social media influencer, who has millions of followers across the platforms, frequently streams on Twitch. During one of her latest broadcasts titled “Recreating TacoBell Items!!.” CookinWitKya started crying while talking about the hate she has been receiving. Before she ended the stream on her Twitch Channel “cooknwitkya,” Renee said,

“I’m just irritated. Like, my name just gets slandered so much and I really don’t be doing nothing.”

She added,

“It’s just always something when you tell me my name, which is always something. Like, it’s so rare that I see positive stuff about me and I literally don’t do nothing, like nothing. Like, nothing could get worse than that so it’s just like all the hate and everything, like nothing affects me no more like… It’s like I have no feelings no more.”

CookinWitKya ended the broadcast, but her clip made its way to X, with FearBuck (@FearedBuck) reposting it. Many users reacted to the clip of Renee crying and shared their opinions on the matter. A user (@renebbxo) wrote,

“That’s part of being an influencer she’ll live.”

The social media star was quite active in making the “Streamer University” content a few weeks back. However, she ended a recent livestream abruptly after speaking about online hate while crying. Many on X were quick to point out how public backlash was a part of influencers’ lives, as they criticized CookinWitKya.

“Don't get in the kitchen if you can't stand the heat,” a user wrote.
“The greatest thing about online bullying, is you could just log off the internet and not deal with it,” another user pointed out.
“You have to have tough skin to be in that field … it’s the internet what else do you expect fr,” someone claimed.
“Simply cant be an influencer if you can dish it but can’t take it,” another one said.

A user advised Kya,

“Your haters become relentless when they know they can get to you like that on the Internet. Never let them see you like that.”
