On September 17, Candace Owens shared an X post, writing that she would do anything to get behind the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Her post read:

“Sorry guys, you murdered my friend. You unlocked the Inigo Montoya in me. We’re not stopping until we get to the bottom of this thing.”

For the unversed, Inigo Montoya is a fictional character from the 1973 novel, The Princess Bride, written by novelist and playwright William Goldman. As per the story, Inigo Montoya sought vengeance for his father, Domingo Montoya. Count Tyrone Rugen murdered Domingo Montoya.

On the September 16 episode of her podcast, Candace Owens said:

“What just happened to my friend Charlie Kirk is a battle of sheer evil versus goodness.”

She spoke about George Zinn, the man who falsely claimed he was the one to shoot Kirk. Owens said right after Charlie Kirk got shot, Zinn suddenly jumped up and caused a distraction, which seemed unusual. Later, after he was arrested, he was charged with obstructing justice. She questioned why he would do that.

On top of that, it was also found that he had been keeping harmful images of children. Candace Owens added:

“He is in Utah and he is obstructing justice and he also happens to have this totally disgusting addiction of some description. Assuming it's an addiction and that's what he's harboring. He's harboring child abuse images on his phone. That's what I'm going to tell you. That's my instinct immediately. I don't like this guy. That is suspect.”

What did Candace Owens say about Lance Twiggs?

Besides Tyler Robinson, his roommate Lance Twiggs’ name has also come to the spotlight. In her YouTube live video, Candace Owens said she thought it was strange that not much was being said about a man named Lance, except that he had been cooperative and even shared his messages.

She made it clear she wasn’t saying he was involved, but found it odd that people weren’t asking more about him, especially since he lived with the person and had been texting him about his plans. She mentioned that people described Tyler, the other person, as a good kid. Then she shared that Lance Twigg’s family had tried to contact her over the weekend. Candace Owens said:

“And I realize that they're saying to me like, you know, we want to speak with you and there's more than one family member that has reached out because we trust you and we don't trust the media. Good. Good by me. They are, it sounds to me, a very good family.”

She went on:

“They're absolutely horrified by what has happened and they are similarly perplexed by there not being more out there about the person he was living with. Especially because what they told me and I can tell you this exclusively is that the house that Tyler Robinson was living in with Lance is owned by them. Tyler Robinson is paying rent to them.”

Candace Owens said that Lance’s family was upset with how the media showed him, making it seem like he was a harmless person with no issues. His family did not believe that story and felt that more people were likely involved.
