South Korean singer and member of the K-pop group 2NE1, Park Bom, is taking a break to focus on her health. The news of her hiatus was shared by her current agency, D-Nation. But just a day later, she took to social media to air her grievances about her former agency, YG Entertainment.
She shared screenshots and handwritten notes, opening up about all the struggles she faced while under YG Entertainment. In one of her posts, she wrote:
"They said they made my appearance look like a freak, just to mock me. YG never once paid for my cosmetic surgery. The few procedures I had were all paid for out of my own pocket. They used me as example to mock people who had plastic surgeries. Even when I went to dermatology clinics, I paid for everything myself."
After she posted this, the following day, she posted a photo of what looked like a legal complaint or a lawsuit against YG Entertainment's founder, Yang Hyun Suk, for fraud. She cited a huge sum of money, which was around $4.5 quadrillion.

More details about Park Bom's latest controversy
Aside from the plastic surgery, Bom also talked about the music she allegedly wrote for 2NE1. She continued:
"I wrote all of their songs. They locked me up and made me write every song, except for one. But they never paid me, and even if you search the credits, my name isn't there. I gave my all for singing, but it never paid off. I was never once allowed to do a magazine photoshoot."
Furthermore, she spoke about how they shamed and used her family for their own benefit. She wrote:
"They also used my family. They saw that my aunt was good at cooking, so this woman from YG went to learn from my aunt's cooking teacher, while calling my family poor and pitiful."
Park Bom concluded by saying that she has been offered several commercial deals, but was not allowed to accept them. In her words:
In total, I was offered 4,231 commercial offers, but they were all given to someone else."
Park Bom's recent posts reveal the struggles she faced under YG Entertainment, from unpaid work and song credits to personal and family exploitation. She also shared a photo of a lawsuit filed against the YG Entertainment founder, but it was disproved by her current agency, saying:
"All settlements related to her 2NE1 activities have already been completed."
