Tory Lanez' spokesperson, Diana London, voiced out her thoughts regarding the case between Megan Thee Stallion and Lanez. In a lengthy X post, the CEO of London Global Strategies wrote:
"Facts are a funny thing. They don’t lie. No amount of noise, distraction, or spin will change FACTS. Sometimes people may try to manipulate those facts and may have temporary gains with those manipulations.
She continued:
"But Truth is steady. It doesn’t bend to convenience or ego. And while it may take time to surface, it always does — often at great cost to those who choose integrity over image. #FreeTory".
Diana London is not the only one to offer Tory Lanez her support. Florida Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna has also called for Lanez' release. She said:
"Based on the evidence that I’ve seen, Tory is innocent... We are calling on Gavin Newsom to issue that pardon immediately."
New details and evidence emerge regarding Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion's case
So far, Tory Lanez' legal team revealed that the rapper never shot the Savage singer, and that new evidence shows that it was her former best friend who took the shot instead. This is what Lanez' lawyer, Walter Roberts, had to say:
"[Harris] fired at [Megan] three times. Mr. Peterson grabbed her arm and knocked it down, and the gun fired two more times. In essence, Mr. Peterson never shot anybody. Never even touched them. He never fired the gun. This statement aligns with the statement of the only non-party witness to the case, Mr. Sean Kelly, who at trial testified he saw two women fighting."
Akademiks reposted Diana London's Instagram story, stating the same message above, captioning his X post:
"Diana London Tory Lanez spokesperson says 'facts are a funny thing. They don’t lie' NO DNA NO FINGERPRINTS NO GUN SHOT RESIDUE Facts: 2 drunk women fighting 'Truth is steady. It doesn’t bend to convenience or ego. And while it may take time to surface, it always does,'" note the part where he mentioned the "drunk women".
Megan Thee Stallion also spoke out after Lanez' attorneys claimed that he did not shoot her. She posted on TikTok:
"At what point are yall gonna stop making me have to relive being shot BY TORY!? At what point are Tory and yall FANS gonna stop lying? Like how much is the check to keep harassing me? He [didn’t’] dare to get on that stand and deny he shot me and that was his choice because he knows he did that sh**... Facts are facts."
The Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion case continues to stir the public's interest. With new evidence coming in and claiming that it was Stallion's former best friend who shot her, the singer herself responded, emphasizing and reiterating that it was Tory himself who shot her.
