iDubbbz, also known as Ian, has stepped down from Creator Clash, the charity boxing event he co-founded. In a recent video, Ian said,
“We have relinquished control to our business partners,” referring to the team that handled the first two events.
This comes after a public feud between Ian and Ethan Klein of h3h3 Productions.
Ian released a new Content Cop video—the first in years—calling out Ethan Klein. The video gained millions of views and brought a lot of attention to both creators. But the fallout from this video has had unexpected consequences. Some creators have now pulled out of Creator Clash, and questions have been raised about the event’s charity goals.
Due to this drama, Ian and his wife Anisa have decided to leave the event entirely. Creator Clash will still go ahead, but neither Ian nor Anisa will be involved anymore. Ian explained the reasons behind his decision in a follow-up video.
Why did iDubbbz call out Ethan Klein?
iDubbbz and Ethan Klein used to be friends and collaborators on YouTube. However, over the years, their relationship changed. iDubbbz said he felt it was time to speak out and explain his side. That led to his new Content Cop video focused on Ethan.
The video was more than an hour long. Ian talked about past conflicts, disagreements, and how Ethan has changed. He said he thought Ethan would respond like an adult and keep the conversation focused.
“I was hoping that if I made a video about Ethan, he would act like an adult and keep the attacks directed at me and Anisa. Unfortunately, I was wrong in thinking that,” Ian said.
After the video came out, Ethan responded. But instead of just replying to Ian, he also questioned Creator Clash. He asked whether the event was actually raising money for charity. Ian did not expect that. He felt that Ethan was now trying to damage the charity event as a way to attack him and Anisa.
What does this mean for Creator Clash?
Creator Clash will still take place, but it will now be run by the business partners who helped organize the last two events. Ian and Anisa will no longer be part of the event in any way. Ian made this clear in his video.
He said, “With this recent revelation that people are just going to use Creator Clash to attack Anisa and I, Anisa and I have decided to step away from Creator Clash.” He added, “We have relinquished control to our business partners who ran the previous two events.”
This change comes with challenges. Two creators Harley Morenstein and Lena Ayad have already pulled out of their fights. They said they do not want to be associated with the event while this drama is ongoing. Despite this, the organizers say the event is still scheduled for June 28, 2025.
The official Creator Clash account also made a statement. It said the team understands that people may feel disappointed but asked fans to keep supporting the fighters and the charities.
“They’ve worked too hard, and the charities we fight for are too important to let the mission get lost,” the statement read.

Why did iDubbbz decide to fully step away?
iDubbbz said that running a charity event while being involved in online drama is not possible. In his words:
“I can’t really have my cake and eat it, too. It’s either you’re gonna talk s**t like a foul beast on the internet, or you’re gonna have a charity event. It really can’t be both.” Ian said he tried to balance both, but it wasn’t working anymore.
iDubbbz also mentioned that he wanted to speak his mind instead of staying quiet.
“It had to come to this eventually. I can’t keep my mouth shut – I mean, I can, I just didn’t want to,” he said.
Ian felt it was more important to defend himself than to protect his public image.
Even though iDubbbz is no longer part of Creator Clash, Ian said he is still proud of what he helped build. He asked fans to support the event even though he and Anisa are no longer involved.

iDubbbz’s decision to step away from Creator Clash comes during a tense period in online creator circles. His conflict with Ethan Klein has led to personal and professional fallout. Ian said he felt he had no choice but to leave the event in order to speak freely and deal with the situation.
The event will continue without him, and fans are being asked to focus on the positive impact of the charity work. The team behind Creator Clash hopes the drama will not overshadow the cause. Only time will tell how the changes affect the event moving forward.
