"We wish you could be here with us today": Diddy's daughters posts a heartfelt message ahead of dad's trial

P. Diddy's teenage twin daughters, whom he shared with his late ex-girlfriend, Kim Porter, posted a heartfelt message on their joint Instagram account on Mother's Day. 18-year-old D'Lila Star Combs and Jessie James Combs lost their mother when they were only 11 years old, when Porter succumbed to pneumonia on November 15, 2018.

The Instagram post came just before the opening statements of Diddy's trial, which was on May 12, 2025. Additionally, the twins would post heartwarming captions and videos of their late mother from time to time.

This year's Mother's Day is no different. They uploaded a photo of Kim Porter while she was pregnant with them (D'Lila and Jessie) and captioned it:

"Dear mommy, You were the best mommy anyone could’ve ever had and we are so blessed that god chose you to be our mommy. We miss you so very much every single day and we wish you could be here with us today. These last couple years have been sooooo extremely difficult without you by our side."

They continued:

"We really wish you were here for these years that we begin to grow and start to mature into young ladies. We are going to follow in your footsteps and always make you proud. I hope you are up there celebrating this beautiful day with your mommy and grandma we miss you all so much!!! Happy Mothers Day to our Queen.🕊️❤️"
