Joy Taylor, co-host of Speak with Keyshawn Johnson and Paul Pierce, has been released by Fox Sports 1. The news was shared on July 14 by The Athletic reporter Andrew Marchand:

"The three shows struggled to find a huge audience, prompting the cancellations, according to sources briefed on the decision."

This included Taylor's show, Speak, the Breakfast Ball, and The Facility. Before reportedly joining Speak in September 2022, she worked as a news anchor on The Herd with Colin Cowherd and as a moderator on Skip and Shannon: Undisputed. She also launched her own Saturday program, The Joy Taylor Show. It used to air on Fox Sports Radio, which led to her popularity.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Taylor’s estimated net worth in 2025 is $1.5 million, largely earned through her successful career in sports media.

When did Joy Taylor join Fox Sports?

Joy Taylor reportedly joined Fox Sports 1 in 2016. Before that, she used to work as an executive producer at a Miami-based radio station, 790 AM The Ticket. Because of her talent and on-air skills, she soon reportedly landed her own morning show, The Ticket Morning Show, as the host.

Along with working for Fox Sports, Joy also ran her own podcast, Maybe I'm Crazy, on YouTube and Spotify, with the last episode in 2021. The podcast featured many popular guests over the years, including Bucky Brooks and RJ Young. Taylor has also launched a new podcast called The Two Personal Podcast.

According to recent reports, Taylor was let go by Fox Sports after working with the network for almost nine years. While working at Fox Sports, Taylor was also mentioned in a lawsuit filed by former Fox Sports hairstylist Noushin Faraji against former network executive Charlie Dixon.

Dixon was reportedly fired in April 2025, three months before Taylor was let go. However, according to The Athletic, the reason behind her being fired was the show's difficulty in drawing a large audience.

While she hasn’t publicly addressed her recent exit from Fox Sports, she remains active on social media, where she’s been sharing clips from the latest episode of the show, The Two Personal Podcast, which was released on July 14.

Along with Taylor, Emmanuel Acho has also been let go by Fox Sports 1. To know complete details of the Fox Sports shakeup, check this out:
