American singer and recording artist Jane Morgan has died at the age of 101, reportedly from natural causes. The news was announced by her family, as per Deadline, through a statement:

"Our beloved Jane passed away peacefully in her sleep."

Jane Morgan was married to film producer and talent manager Jerry Weintraub. The couple tied the knot in 1965 but separated in the 1980s. The exact year of their separation is not confirmed. Jerry Weintraub passed away from cardiac arrest in 2015. He was 77 at the time of his death.

Before her marriage to Jerry Weintraub, Jane Morgan was married to Larry Stith. They got married in 1959, but the relationship ended in divorce five years later, in 1964.

How many children did Jane Morgan have?

Jane Morgan, born Florence Catherine Currier, was the daughter of Bertram Currier and Olga Currier. Jane and Jerry shared three children together, all of whom they adopted: Julie, Jody, and Jamie. Their eldest daughter, Jody Weintraub, has worked in the additional crew for many well-known films, including The Avengers, The Next Karate Kid, and Vegas Vacation.

According to IMDb, she has also served as a producer on the television series Extra. Jody has shared the memories of her father, Jerry, many times on social media, with the most recent in 2024, where she wrote:

"Happy father’s day love you to the moon and back"

In addition to their adopted children, Jane Morgan was also a stepmother to Michael Weintraub, who, as per IMDb, was part of the additional crew for the film Cruising.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Jane was a grandmother of six and a great‑grandmother to eight. The details about her family and early personal life have largely been kept private.

When Jerry Weintraub was asked in an interview with St. Louis Jewish Light why he never divorced Morgan despite being in a long-term relationship with Susie Ekins, he responded:

"I went to Jane when I fell in love with Susie and asked Jane if she wanted a divorce. She said, “I don’t need a divorce, there is no one I want to be with. If Susie doesn’t need a divorce, why don’t you leave it alone? I know you’ll take care of me and the kids."

Talking about their bond, he continued:

"We spend vacations together. We’re always at family functions together. . . I happen to have two beautiful, fantastic women in my life, both of whom have dedicated their life to me and love me very much and take care of me."
