Egyptian TikToker Suzy the Jordanian aka Suzy AI Ordoneya has been taken into police custody over alleged inappropriate content on social media. Authorities revealed that this action was taken after several complaints were made against Suzy’s posts on the video-sharing platform TikTok.
According to MisRconnect’s August 2, 2025, publication, security forces arrested Suzy at her apartment in New Cairo following complaints that the 19-year-old from the Matariya neighborhood in Cairo, made posts that were allegedly in contempt of religion, dressed inappropriately, and crossed socially acceptable boundaries.
Her arrest comes amid government monitoring to fight the spread of offensive content in the country. Two years ago, the online personality was sentenced to two years in prison by the Juvenile Court and fined EGP 300,000 over a controversial TikTok livestream where she allegedly used “indecent language” when addressing her father.
Her bail was reportedly set at EGP 100,000. Other Egyptian content creators and Internet personalities who have been arrested in recent times include Alaa Manadeel and Madahem.

Suzy, the Jordanian, is being accused of offending religious sanctities. According to Missrconnect, Suzy, in her videos, had used phrases that many believed were offensive to the Prophet Muhammad. Suzy AI Ordoneya is additionally facing charges of publishing indecent content. There are reportedly clips of the Singer using language that violates public morals, incites social chaos, and promotes negative behavior.
Missrconnect reported that during the investigations and questioning, the accused didn’t deny that she made the viral videos and stated that her aim for the videos was to increase her followers and earn money from advertising.
The TikToker reportedly noted that her father’s refusal to help her achieve her goals made her resort to provocative methods. The TikToker confessed to her wrongdoing and removed some videos to reconcile with the authorities.
Under Article 98 of the Egyptian Penal Code, the TikToker, if found guilty, could face imprisonment and hefty fines, including closure of the accounts.
