Alien: Earth premiered on August 12, 2025, and has already hooked viewers with its narrative. A prequel series to the popular Alien franchise films, it depicts the events that happened before Alien, the 1979 film.

While Alien: Earth may have gained your attention due to the expansive narrative and bringing back the sci-fi vibe of the Alien films, it also turned heads for going the Taylor Swift way and dropped numerous easter eggs, referencing previous films from the franchise and Disney films, that the eagle-eyed fans were happy to discover.

Here’s a list of 5 Easter eggs that the fans have noticed in the first two episodes of Alien: Earth.

5 Easter eggs in the Alien: Earth premiere that you might have missed

1) The guns and other ammo

Bringing back the memories of the Alien film franchise, Alien: Earth included the ammunition that we have already seen in the films, making an exciting callback to the franchise. From Pulse rifles that were previously seen in Aliens, including the modified M56 smartgun that Jenette Vasquez uses in the film, are also present.

2) "Will I dream?" - Marcy

Another fantastic easter egg was a callback to a moment between Newt and Ripley from Aliens. In the premiere episode, Marcy prepares to get her consciousness transferred to become Wendy in the synthetic body. In the scene, she enquires about whether she will experience any kind of discomfort, and also utters this line.

The scene will surely remind many of the moment where Newt asks Ripley about dreaming before she goes to cryogenic sleep in Aliens.

3) The crew waking up scene

In the premiere episode, one of the moments with the crew of USCSS Maginot will surely remind you of Ripley’s crew in the Alien film. The whole set, including the smallest of the details like the placement of the central computer, is the perfect tribute to the Ridley Scott film.

One fan even noticed how one of the crew’s waking up reminded them of Kane, played by John Hurt, as it was too similar.

4) The Peter Pan reference

Since Alien: Earth is produced by FX, a division of Disney Entertainment, there are several references to Disney movies. One of the most popular ones is the Peter Pan reference, as the synthetic bodies are given the names of the characters from the film, which was adapted from J.M. Barrie’s popular fairy tale.

Sydney Chandler’s character is named Wendy, a nod to the eldest Darling children. In addition, there are other hybrids named after other Peter Pan characters, such as Adarsh Gourav is named Slightly, Kit Young is Tootles, Erana James plays Curly, and Jonathan Ajayi is named Smee, the Pirate.

5) The Ice Age reference

While this is not the only Disney film reference, the Ice Age reference was one of the most viral easter egg moments from Alien: Earth. In one of the scenes, Marcy’s brother, Hermit, recalls watching Ice Age: Continental Drift with his sister, cleverly making another Disney film part of the Alien: Earth lore.

He even quotes one of the iconic lines from the film after the robots refuse to consider his resignation, and he responds:

"Have a heart, or face my fury."
