7 Times Katie Lowes slayed as Jill in The Hunting Wives
7) Jill demands money from Margo (Episode 3)

It is clear from the beginning that everyone is looking out for themselves. For example, Jill and Margo are supposed to be close friends, but this does not stop Jill from asking Margo for money so her husband, Reverend Clint, can participate in Margo’s husband, Jed Banks’s, political campaign. While this adds to another difficult situation for Margo, Jill's demand for money reveals the shallowness of their relationship and also gives Jill an upper hand over Margo and Jed, for once.
6) Jill lets Brad know her disapproval of his relationship with Abby (Episode 3)

Jill is part of the elite club in The Hunting Wives; therefore, her disapproval of her son’s relationship with Abby, who comes from a humble background, is predictable. After seeing Brad spending too much time with Abby, she couldn’t hold back and had to lecture him.
In episode 3 of The Hunting Wives, Jill criticizes him and cautions him about his interactions with Abby. She tells him not to let Abby get pregnant, or else he will be tied down with her forever. Adhering to the conservative thinking and perceptions about people with less money than them, Jill perfectly fits into the upper-class women, who try to stay away from mingling with the wrong group of people, according to her.
5) Jill takes Sophie’s side against Callie (Episode 3)
During their get-together in episode 3 of The Hunting Wives, Callie tries to use the information she has about Sophie’s past during the game of Never Have I Ever. However, it backfires when Sophie reveals the truth and gets emotional.
This causes the other wives, including Margo and Jill, to side with Sophie and try to cheer her up, while also reprimanding Callie as they suspect she may have obtained this information from the police station.
4) Jill tries to save Brad (Episode 4)

In episode 4 of The Hunting Wives, Abby is revealed to be the dead woman shown at the beginning of the series. Margo advises Jill to lawyer up, as her family will likely be the prime suspects in the case. Jill knows this and tries to devise a plan to prevent Brad from being arrested by creating a fake alibi in this episode. The mother-son duo decides to tell the police that he was grounded and was watching TV with Jill. Additionally, Jill meets Abby’s mom, Starr, to demonstrate how devastated she is by Abby’s death, showing how far she’s willing to go to save her family.
3) Jill buys Jamie’s silence (Episode 5)

In the aftermath of Abby’s death in The Hunting Wives, many secrets and false bonds are exposed, leaving everyone to cope and hide from the truth alone. In episode 5 of The Hunting Wives, Brad is frightened as Jamie threatens to reveal where they were the night Abby died.
Jill takes matters into her own hands to protect her son and meets with Jamie, showing how money might be able to keep her son from being suspected of killing Abby. As an overprotective mother, she then pays a $50K scholarship for Jamie so he won’t reveal the truth to anyone.
2) Jill’s lies come to light (Episode 6)

In episode 5 of The Hunting Wives, Jill has become the suspect instead of Brad because of her guarded behavior. As Margo begins to doubt her own friends, she asks them to sign NDAs and to delete all her pictures from their phones.
All of this takes a toll on Jill as she struggles to agree to the terms and eventually leaves, making everyone more suspicious of her—not just for Abby’s murder but also for blackmailing Margo.
1) Jill kills Starr (Episode 7)

From the unhinged housewife introduced at the beginning of The Hunting Wives, Jill has undergone a great deal and finds herself behaving erratically after being found near Starr, who is now dead.
As Margo and Callie go to visit Jill, they discover Starr’s body, where Jill is frantically saying that she killed her in self-defense. Katie Lowes demonstrated her acting skill in one of Jill’s toughest and final scenes, earning all of our admiration with how perfectly she portrayed Jill’s last moments—fearful and panicked amidst the stress since Abby’s death.
