"A kick to the neck": Physical: Asia star Superbon reveals how his signature move knocks out opponents

Physical: Asia premiered on Netflix on October 28, 2025. The latest season of the show featured 48 participants from eight countries. The first episode of the show revealed contestants from different teams.

One of the teams featured on Physical: Asia was Team Thailand. Teammates, including Superbon, James Rusameekae Fagerlund, Anucha Yospanya, Ploy Nuannaree Olsen, Sun Kerdkao Wechokittikorn, and Jar Uracha Teerawaitsan, participated in the show.

Superbon, a professional Muay Thai fighter, talked about his wins and renowned victories in his introduction. He also mentioned how his signature high kicks could knock out his opponents during the fights.

"I'm Superbon, professional Muay Thai fighter and kickboxer, previous IFMA champion with 4 consecutive wins. As a fighter, I'm known for knocking out my opponents with a kick to the neck. High kicks are one of my specialities, and that's a skill that's hard to master, especially in Muay Thai," shared Superbon.

Physical: Asia Episode 1: Team Thailand's Superbon opens up about his signature move

After Korea and Japan, the next team on Physical: Asia was from Thailand, featuring Muay Thai fighters. One of the teammates was Superbon.

Seeing Thailand's team arriving there, one of the contestants noted there were Muay Thai fighters among them. Another participant shared that one of them was The One Champion.

"He's gonna be strong," said Korea's Kim Dong-hyun.

Another team's contestants recognized that it was Superbon. They referred to him as super strong and super famous. When someone mentioned he was the Muay Thai champion, everyone was shocked.

In his introductory video, Superbon talked about his signature move, high kicks. They could result in opponents knocking out during the fight. Physical: Asia star noted that they were his specialties, even though they were hard to master in Muay Thai.

Viewers witnessed clips from Superbon's fights where he knocked down his opponents with his iconic high kicks. One of them even fainted after he kicked him in the neck with his signature move.

Sharing more about his team and the competition, Superbon confessed to the cameras:

"As a professional Muay Thai fighter from Thailand, I'm here to represent my country and our people's fighting spirit. The only thing on my mind is victory."

As Superbon and his team walked up to their designated spots, the rest of the teams observed his teammates.

Some of the participants saw that one contestant from Thailand's team wore heels.

"He looks like he could be some kind of sorcerer, right? He's gonna use magic," said one of the Physical: Asia contestants.

Listening to them talk, the one in heels, James Rusameekae Fagerlund, mimicked hand movements like a magician and said, "Abracadabra!" and his teammates laughed. Another team talked about the same contestant and referred to them as "Heel guy." They asked him about his job. James responded that it was Volleyball.

In his introduction, James noted that he and his team were there to win.

"So we brought it all: The big guns, the thick guns, the best of the best. Bodybuilders, athletes, and fighters," added James.

Team Thailand's remaining contestants were:

• Anucha Yospanya: Wrestler,
• Ploy Nuannaree Olsen: Muay Thai Coach,
• Sun Kerdkao Wechokittikorn: National Team Rugby Player,
• Jar Uracha Teerawaitsan: Crossfitter.

Further in the episode, Suberbon told his team that they didn't need to worry about Team Korea. He told them that they looked like a team of influencers.
