Bryan Cranston earned his 7th Primetime Emmy Award for his guest-starring role in Seth Rogen’s satirical cringe comedy series, The Studio. The acclaimed Hollywood actor has previously won six Emmy Awards for his performance as skilled chemist Walter White in AMC's Breaking Bad.

With this win, Cranston has depicted that whether the genre is drama or comedy, or his role is limited or expansive, the 69-year-old can leave a lasting mark among the viewers and critics as well.

More about Brayn Cranston's Emmy wins.

Bryan Cranston won six Emmy Awards for Breaking Bad

Bryan Cranston’s Emmy win for The Studio is one of his biggest wins due to the intense competition in the category of guest starring role. He was among the nominees, which also included Martin Scorsese and Ron Howard, with popular actors like Anthony Mackie and Dave Franco, all of whom were nominated for their guest appearances in the cringe-comedy series.

Furthermore, the category also had Jon Bernthal as a nominee for his outstanding role as Mikey in The Bear. Cranston’s win in the category crammed with talent shows that even a limited screen time is enough for the actor to display his versatility.

When discussing versatility, we have to mention that this was Cranston’s win in the comedy category. Earlier, he won six Emmy Awards in the drama category for the neo-Western crime drama, Breaking Bad. In the AMC series, he portrayed the character of Walter White, also known as Heisenberg. An over-qualified chemistry teacher who was disappointed with his life created a drug empire to make his family financially secure before his impending death from lung cancer.

His nuanced performance of a morally grey character earned him his first Emmy Award in 2008 in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category. He won another three awards in the same category in 2009, 2010, and 2014. He became the producer of the series in 2011, after which he won two more Emmy Awards as the series won in the Outstanding Drama Series category in 2014.
