The story is about Baek Ah-jin, who has endured only pain and torture in childhood from her parents. This experience results in Ah-jin becoming a skilled manipulator, as this was the only way she could survive.

The series has a lot of thrilling scenes, like Ah-jin witnessing her mother's death and keeping it a secret. Not only this, she even staged her abusive father's death and has many men around her who cannot afford to expose Ah-jin.

Interestingly, she has now become a popular actress and there are many trying to expose Ah-jin's past. But will they really succeed? This will be revealed at the end of the series, as it's still going on.
