A lot is happening in Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side, as Kaizer Watson has returned and has been making life really hard for his sons. Amid all the chaos and dangers, Keifer makes sure to tell Jay-Jay how much he loves her.
And just when Jay also starts to love him deeply, Aries steps in and poisons her trust by claiming Keifer once said the very same loving words to Ella. However, this does not mean that Jay won't trust Keifer anymore.
Currently, she's more focused on helping Keifer and his little brothers and keeping them from Kaizer's abusive behaviour. Episode 4 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side revealed that Kaizer killed Keifer's mom in front of him, and has since trying to take away all the money she has left behind for her sons.

Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 4 recap: Keifer and Jay-Jay's bond gets stronger
Episode 4 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side is titled "Meeting the Father", as the HVIS students, including Jay-Jay, meet Keifer's father, and it leads to chaos. So, chapter 4 begins with Keifer and Jay finally home after that emotional moment between them.
They both have confessed their love, and Jay finally knows who she loves. Though the engagement keeps bothering her, which she might get rid of soon. Jay feels happy to confess her love, and then Keifer calls her.
And this is the moment when he says, "I love you to infinity and beyond", leaving Jay-Jay blushing. And just when she's about to say "I love you too", Ci-N wakes up and questions Jay.
He tries to check her phone and playfully blackmails Jay that he will tell Keifer about her phone call with someone. He didn't know that it was Keifer himself whom Jay was talking to.
Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 4 recap: Keifer skips school for a few days
When Section E boys skip school for days, that's a clear message that something's wrong. Jay-Jay was excited to meet Keifer at school, but he didn't show up for days, and Yuri informed that he's going through a lot due to his father's return.
Jay keeps waiting for Keifer's call and text messages, and he finally calls her at night. Jay expresses his frustration over Keifer not updating her, as she missed him. However, the first thing Keifer asks is whether Yuri tried to make moves when he was gone.
He also mentions having a lot on his plate right now and is unsure when he'll be able to return to school. Later, he teases her, but Jay-jay is worried about what's happening with him right now.
Flashback reveals that Kaizer wants to take away Keiren if Keifer doesn't sign the inheritance document. Keifer has promised to keep his brothers safe until he reaches his legal age and gets their custody.

Later in the episode, Kaizer Watson brings most of the HVIS students to his house and claims he has invited them all for dinner. However, his true intentions are revealed soon.
Kaizer even mocks Ella for changing her boyfriend and even insults Jay-Jay's mother over her relationships. Keifer defends his friends and doesn't hold back when anyone is insulted.
Kaizer then tells Keifer to sign a document, through which all the money that Serena has given to her sons after her death would be transferred to Kaizer. Keifer refuses to sign, claiming Kaizer has no right to that money.
His abusive father then accuses his own dead wife of stealing the money from the company. So, he wants it back, or else he will take away the younger Watson, Keiren, with him.

When Keifer refused to sign in episode 4 of Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side, Kaizer asked his hitmen to take the students outside and beat Keifer up in front of them. The situation gets tense when they start hitting Keifer, leaving everyone scared.
Kaizer once again hands over the document to Keifer, and as he's about to sign, Jay-Jay steps in. She's even held at gunpoint by Dylan, the professional hitman. However, Jay still chose to save Keifer and tells Kaizer that his reputation will be ruined if a student gets killed because of him.
This leaves him with no choice but to leave the students for now. Though Jay's idea worked, she could get hurt, and this would have hurt Keifer the most.

Following the heavy day, Keier takes Jay for a ride in Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 4. He expresses his concern over Jay risking her life and tells her never to do that again.
Jay also gets mad as he didn't thank her, but scolded her for saving her life. This is when Keifer tells her why he is so afraid of losing people he loves. He explains that Kaier has always been abusive, and Serena (his mother) even left him at one point in their life.
However, she forgave him when Keiren was born, but nothing changed in him. Kaizer kept abusing her physically and mentally, and when Keifer reached his breaking point, Kaizer killed Serena in front of him.
The most heartbreaking part: Keifer had to witness his own mother's death and was completely helpless. He regrets not being able to save her. So now, he doesn't want to see anyone else, including Jay, get hurt.
His painful past brings Jay-Jay to tears as she learns how much trauma and abuse Keifer has experienced. As Ang Mutya ng Section E Book 2: The Dark Side episode 4 ends, Aries catches Jay outside the home and warns her about Keifer. He says that Keifer is just playing, as he was the same when he dated Ella.
