Apart from Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, Vincent D'Onofrio is excited about these MCU Phase 6 entries

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has been one of the most anticipated projects in 2026. This hype and anticipation for season 2 is something even Kingpin/Wilson Fisk actor Vincent D'Onofrio shares with the fans. Recently, a fan asked D'Onofrio which MCU Phase 6 projects he was interested in. To this, the actor responded with Born Again Season 2 and, surprisingly, even Avengers: Doomsday.

As of now, Avengers: Doomsday is currently under production, but on July 10, 2025, showrunner Dario Scardapane confirmed that Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has wrapped production. Despite all the skepticism, the next Avengers movie, fans are still excited for Doomsday. Thus, it is not surprising that Vincent D'Onofrio is one of those hyped for the upcoming Avengers movie.

Explaining Daredevil: Born Again Season 2's D'Onofrio's comments:

As mentioned above, Vincent D'Onofrio revealed which Phase 6 projects he is excited for. Unsurprisingly, his first choice, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, makes sense because he is a part of it, and everyone who has worked on it has appreciated the script. Plus, the involvement of Krysten Ritter's Jessica Jones only has fans hyped for the series.

Until this week, all that fans had were leaked set images here and there. But now that production has wrapped, we can expect official images and some teasers to drop anytime soon. Confirming Daredevil: Born Again Season 2's wrap of production, Dario Scardapane wrote this as the caption on his Instagram post:

What will Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 be about?

As of now, we don't know much about the upcoming second season. But we do know that it will follow Matt and his army's attempts to bring down Wilson Fisk's oppressive mayoral regime. In the season 1 finale, Fisk tightened his grip over the city by enacting a ban on masks across New York. Thus, the finale set the stage for a more exciting Daredevil: Born Again Season 2, which has a lot of promise.

One of these promises is the return of Jessica Jones, as played by Krysten Ritter, who also played the character in the Netflix shows. Ritter said this about her return while sharing the stage with Charlie Cox:

“It’s so great to be back, returning to Jessica after three seasons and ‘The Defenders’ and now joining the MCU. I’m so excited to bring back this iconic character, and without giving too much away, there is much more in store for Jessica Jones. This is going to be an incredible season!”
