Tyler Perry’s Beauty in Black premiered a new season on September 11, 2025. In the previous Season, we had seen Horace and Kimmie making a deal and getting married.
In Season 2, Part 1 of the drama series, Kimmie is now Mrs. Bellarie, and the COO of Bellarie Beauty. Already warned by Horace, she had to tackle the whole family, who were not happy seeing her take the position. She threatens several members and also makes some crucial decisions that might affect some of them.
Elsewhere, her sister Sylvie and best friend, Rain, also find themselves in a situation that could hurt the trio in Part 2 of the series. Furthermore, Charles and Varney are taken hostage at the end of Part 1 of the drama series.

Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 1 ending explained: Glen’s impending fate might bring more trouble into Kimmie's life
In Part 1 of Beauty in Black Season 2, Kimmie confidently finds her footing in the position of COO of Bellarie Beauty. At first, Horace tries to guide her to tackle his family, but Kimmie knows her way.
Without Horace’s help, she commences the meeting, angering the other family members whose 10% shares were taken away from them to accommodate Kimmie. She shines in the meeting as it is revealed that she has worked in finance earlier and knows her way around and the workings of the field.
She also reveals about two shell companies that belong to Horace’s brother and his ex-wife and orders the attorney to look into them. Further, she threatens Roy and Jules, while also expanding the advertisement of their products to social media to gain non-black customers as well.
However, her rise as the business head of Bellarie Beauty might come to a halt after the accident that Rain had caused. She found Sylvie and Glen, the stable boy, in a compromising position. Thinking that he might be harming Sylvie, she attacks him with a pitchfork, which causes him to fall from the balcony and hurt his head.
While he is revealed to be alive, he happens to be none other than Jules’s son. Whether Glen survives or not, Rain’s action will definitely cause more complications for Kimmie in Part 2 of the Tyler Perry series.
Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 1 ending explained: Charles and Varney find themselves in a deeper mess
Other than Kimmie and her friends, there are two more characters who are in a mess. In Beauty in Black Season 2 Part 1, Charles is tricked by Dustin, who performs in the adult club owned by the Bellarie family. By luring him with cocaine, Dustin comes to Charles’s home, which the former plans to rob with his friends.
Later, three masked men attack him. After Roy and Varney ditch him when he calls them, he fights back the men and shoots the trio. With no one there to save him from the crime he committed, he decides to cut them up and dispose of the remains of the dead men.
However, before he can completely dispose of the bodies, Varney catches him in the act. As they both get into an argument about Charles’s inhuman action, they are again attacked by three more masked men. While the men claim to be the police, there are suspicions about their identity.
In the next part of Beauty in Black Season 2, Charles and Varney’s fate and how Kimmie protects herself and her friends from Jules’ wrath will be revealed.
