Below Deck Season 12 Episode 5 aired on Monday, June 30, 2025. The latest episode of the Bravo show featured a date between Solène and Kyle. They both enjoyed their time together. They learned a lot about each other and ended their date in the rain.
On deck, Ciao faced issues with the Captain after he failed to understand what the Captain was telling him while docking the boat. With a new charter on deck, the Captain was not happy with how there were "little errors." It ended with Caio getting fired.

Below Deck Season 12 Episode 5 Recap: Solène goes on a date while Caio struggles
Below Deck Season 12 Episode 5 started with the crew members waking up from their previous night. Fans must remember how Fraser and Damo kissed in the last episode.
When Rainbeau felt lonely, she asked Solène to hug her. However, Solène confessed to the cameras that it felt fake. Further in the episode, while Captain Kerry told Caio to keep an eye out on deck, he had to repeatedly tell him the same.
When the Captain saw how the boat was parked, he called him to his cabin. Seeing how the boat was quite close to the deck, with fenders on the height Solène reacted:
"I didn't know it could be stressful like this, huh?"
Captain told Caio how his actions had put him in a "bad place." He also mentioned how he had to ask three times about what was happening. The Captain also told him about the fender position, which was quite higher.
"So your faults are my faults," said the Captain.

While the rest of the crew finished their duties and went to sleep, Kyle and Solène went on a date. She asked him if he had ever been in love.
"Yeah, a couple of times, yeah," responded Kyle.
When he asked the same question, Solène said it had happened twice. She said it's best and worse, and that's why it's "love." She also confessed to the cameras about her "first love."
She asked Kyle what he liked about her. He responded that he liked her energy and that she was "attractive," and she's always happy. Soon, it started to rain. They were sitting in an open restaurant and enjoyed the rain. Solène said it was a "good date" and that she "loved" it with rain. They also clicked pictures in the rain.

Further on, in the Below Deck episode, viewers saw crew members welcoming a new charter. They were busy with their daily duties. Caio confessed to the cameras about the "synergy" between the deck crew. He also mentioned how Captain has not been in a good mood.
"If the captain is frustrated, it doesn't make me feel happy, of course," confessed Caio.
Soon, he was called to the Captain's cabin again. Captain Kerry admitted that he was having a conversation with Caio that he didn't want to have.
"I've really wanted you to succeed here. The thing is, we keep having these little errors that keep heading up," said the Captain.
Captain mentioned that he was "losing confidence" in Caio with all the things that have happened in the last few charters. Because the expectations of that job weren't met by Caio, Captain told him, he was letting him go.
