Lee Jin-wook and Jung Chae-yeon's latest K-drama, Beyond the Bar, is just a few episodes away from the finale. The rookie attorney Kang Hyo-min has proved that she's no longer a beginner and that she's ready to take on bigger cases.

Her standout moment was with the copyright case, where she proved that her intellectually weak client hadn't copied a well-known artist. But now, the Yullim firm is facing a tough time after attorney Yoon was placed in a tough position.

The fight for justice will continue in Episodes 9 & 10 of Beyond the Bar, scheduled to arrive on August 30 and August 31, 2025. The legal K-drama has been following the two-episodes-per-week schedule since the premiere, and the upcoming episodes will make way for the finale.

What made this drama a hit is how carefully the story is crafted, with each episode presenting a case that's not easy to solve. There are victims and culprits, and every lawyer has to ensure their clients don't lose.

But in the end, there's only one side that wins the case, and so far, Yullim Law Firm has been giving a hard time to its competitor. But now that the leadership has changed, many are against attorney Yoon, including attorney Ko (the son of Yullim's founder).

What happened in Beyond the Bar Episode 8: A quick recap

Episode 8 of Beyond the Bar K-drama is titled "Wonder Woman," and the synopsis reads:

"At Yullim, Ko Tae-seop's plot to oust Seok-hoon escalates. When a famous news anchor is charged with assaulting her husband, Hyo-min digs for the truth."

While it explains how each woman has emerged as a Wonder Woman on her own, the drama also focuses on the accusation against attorney Yoon Seok-hoon. Attorney Ko wants to prove that Yoon is behind planting fake documents in the court, but his low confidence speaks volumes.

At the same time, when Yoon is asked to explain the situation, he says that he doesn't have anything to say and that he will only present the proof of his innocence. Thanks to the unique ID system for every document at Yullim, it's revealed that the document was prepared from Kang Min-jun's computer.

Since the truth starts to come out, Yoon is then accused of having a female attorney at his house at night. Once again, Attorney Yoon stays calm and reveals that the reason why Hye-jin visited him was due to harassment from Hong Do-yun.

She wasn't just burdened with extra work, as Do-yun regularly criticized her work and compared her with school-going kids. At one point, he threw a document at her, due to which Hye-jin got a cut on her hand.

After learning about this shocking incident, Na-yeon makes a move to stop Do-yun's abuse in Yullim. Eventually, everyone agrees to make Do-yun the scapegoat, but attorney Yoon still has some demands.

He asks for promotions and even warns attorney Ko to control his actions. Later in the episode of Beyond the Bar, a new case emerges where a boy was killed by a car, and a woman nearby saw the incident.

It also focuses on the arrest of news anchor Han Seol-yeon, who was accused of abusing her husband. At the court, attorney Yoon and Hyo-min try to prove Seol-yeon innocent. Thankfully, they won the case and Hyo-min once again felt satisfied.
