What happened in Bon Appétit, Your Majesty Episode 2: A quick recap

The second episode of Bon Appétit, Your Majesty is titled "Course N° 2 Sous Vide Cuisine," which is actually a unique method of cooking food under balanced temperature, especially when the meat is too thick. So, in this episode, Yeon Ji-young amazed the women by using this technique to cook food for the royal people.
The episode synopsis reads:
"Held captive in harsh conditions, Ji-young prepares a feast to win her freedom — but even her talent can't save her when a crisis puts her life in peril."
It begins with Ji-young and Gil-geum being captured by the Chaehong guards and taken to the residence of Governor Hong, where Ji-young suddenly realizes she must have travelled back in time, an idea that unnerves her. She and other women are then taken to the kitchen to cook food for the upcoming guests from the royal family.
Before cooking, Ji-young demands that if her food satisfies the guests, she and all other women must be freed. Governor Hong's son agrees, but their situation takes a turn when Chief Royal Secretary Song-jae and his father declare the food tasteless.
They were clearly lying and just when Ji-young was about to be killed, King Lee-heon arrived. He said that if the food is really that good, he will let her live. As expected, King Lee-heon was impressed. The food was a treat to his palate and he praised Ji-young.
By the end of the episode, Ji-young is taken to the palace, where Mok-ju isn't happy to see her. The king mentions that Ji-young has a special talent and he will decide her fate soon.
